"What a game and what a draw, to get the Conference USA champs that are now in the Sun Belt coming into Savage. So much history and tradition with both programs. Great crowd tonight – thanks everyone for coming out and hope you come back Saturday. It was a battle. Their physicality set the tone. We tried to prepare for that, but until you get into the cement mixer with a team like that, it's hard. I thought we adjusted in the second half, but we just didn't make enough winning plays down the stretch."
