Toledo continues series vs. Bobcats tomorrow

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team fell to Ohio, 16-4, in seven innings, in the 2025 home opener at Scott Park on Friday.

The Rockets (6-14, 2-5 MAC) fell behind as the Bobcats (6-14, 2-5 MAC) built their lead by putting up crooked numbers in the second, fourth, fifth and sixth innings, including five runs each in the second and sixth.

How It Happened

Ohio scored five times in the second on three hits, a bases-loaded walk and a sacrifice fly.
Caden Konczak's two-run home run and Brayden White's sacrifice fly in the third cut the deficit to 5-3.
The Bobcats plated two more on a sacrifice play and RBI single to take a 7-3 lead in the fourth inning.
Ben Slanker's three-run home run and an RBI double gave the Bobcats a four-spot in the fifth inning for an 11-3 advantage.
After a Rocket run, Ohio scored five more times to take a 16-4 lead in the sixth. Two runs came across on bases-loaded walks.
