Buffalo, NY – Toledo dropped its first Mid-American Conference match to Buffalo, 6-1. The Rockets fall to 6-8 overall and 0-1 in the MAC.
 
The Bulls claimed the doubles point, winning at No. 1 and 2 causing match No. 3 to go unfinished.
 
Sophomore Sidnay Huck recorded the only Rocket victory of the day. Huck defeated Buffalo's Chantal Martinez-Blanco at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-7, 13-11.
 
Sophomore Megan Miller and freshman Claire Aleck lost in three-set battles at No. 4 and 5 singles, respectively. Miller fell to Laura Holterbosch, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, while Aleck was bested by Mercedes Losada, 5-7, 7-5, 10-4.
 
Toledo will remain on the road next weekend when they travel to Akron, OH to battle the Zips on March 27 at 1:00 p.m.
