Sidnay Huck recorded the only Rocket victory of the day. Huck defeated Buffalo's Chantal Martinez-Blanco at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-7, 13-11.

Claire Aleck lost in three-set battles at No. 4 and 5 singles, respectively. Miller fell to Laura Holterbosch, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, while Aleck was bested by Mercedes Losada, 5-7, 7-5, 10-4.
