Former Rocket Mike Inselmann Signs with Lake Erie Crushers

AVON, OH - Former Rocket RHP Mike Inselmann (2006-07, 09-10) has been given a chance to continue his baseball career. Inselmann has signed a free agent contract with the Lake Erie Crushers. The Crushers are one of 12 teams that compete in the Frontier League and are scheduled to play 99 games this summer.

Inselmann started 23 of 56 career games on the mound for the Rockets as a four-year letterwinner. The Malinta, OH native sported an 11-13 overall record with a 6.41 ERA and two saves, surrendering 151 runs (121 earned) on 219 hits with 104 strikeouts in 170.0 innings of work.

An Independent Professional Baseball team, Lake Erie is slated to open its season this Saturday, May 12 against the Washington Wild Things at home.
