PITTSBURGH, PA - Juniors James Miglin and Wes White collected three hits apiece on Friday morning to spearhead a 14-hit attack and lead Toledo to an 11-2 triumph over Niagara its first game of the Panther Classic.  The Rockets will face tournament host Pitt later today at 4:15 p.m.

UT plated runs in the first six innings, including three in the second and fourth frame, to stake junior LHP Ryan Wilkinson (2-2) to an 11-0 advantage. Wilkinson scattered 10 hits over seven innings and didn't allow the Purple Eagles to plate a run until his last frame.

Joining in the Rockets' offensive uprising with multi-hit efforts were senior LF Tyler Grogg (2-of-4, 2 R, 1 RBI) and freshman 2B Deion Tansel (2-of-4, 2 RBI).

Grogg nearly accounted for Toledo's first run in the opening frame when he led off with a double, stole third and scored on senior DH Matt Delewski's groundout back to Niagara P Joel Klock (0-2).

Miglin and White began UT's three-run outburst in the second inning with a double and single with Tansel delivering the big blow with a two-run double to right-center for a 4-0 Toledo advantage.

Miglin proceeded to give the Rockets an even bigger cushion when he blasted a three-run shot over the left-field wall for an 8-0 lead.
