Toledo, OH - Two Toledo softball players, junior right fielder Lindsey Tobias and senior second baseman Brooke Gates, received first-team All-MAC accolades for their regular-season performances, the conference office announced on Tuesday, May 8. It marks the first time since 1996 that two Rockets were named first-team All-MAC in the same season.

Tobias led the team with a .348 batting average on the season, including eight homeruns and 42 RBI, ranking her eighth in the conference. Her slugging percentage (.563) and on-base percentage (.382) were also team-highs. Tobias successfully stole 17 bases in 19 attempts, the fifth-best mark in the MAC.

Gates recorded a season batting average of .323, the second-highest mark on the team, with two homeruns and 18 RBI. Her 14 doubles led the team and was fifth-best in the conference. She was second-best on the team with a slugging percentage of .496 and an on-base percentage of .376. Gates went 12-for-12 on stolen base attempts during the regular-season.

Both Tobias and Gates were two of only three players to appear in all 54 regular-season contests for the Rockets.
