Chris Nadolny enters his seventh season as an assistant track and field coach at the University of Toledo. Nadonly specializes in the throwing events for the Rockets.

Highlighting his career as part of the track and field program at Toledo, Nadonly helped lead Megan Vaillant to an 8th place finish in the hammer throw at the 2004 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. It was the first time in over ten years that the Rockets had scored in a throwing event at the Outdoor MAC Championships. In 2002, under Nadonly[apos]s leadership, Jill Weiner set the school record in the 20-pound weight and scored in both the weight and the indoor shot at the 2002 MAC Indoor Championships. At that point, it was the first time in school history that the Rockets scored in the throwing events at the Indoor MAC Championships.

Nadolny, a native of Toledo, competed for the University of Alabama in 1979-80, where he threw the shot put, discus and javelin before transferring to the University of Toledo where he competed from 1980-82.

Prior to his appointment with the Rockets, Nadolny served as the boys and girls throws coach at Start High School in Toledo. While there, Nadolny led his daughter, Stacey, to All-American status. During her senior year, Stacey Nadolny was ranked in the Top-5 in the United States with a throw of 156-0 in the discus. Stacey went on to become the four-time Ivy League Champion in that event while competing for Cornell.

Nadolny and his wife, Margy, have two other children: Nick (22) and Emily (18).
