Carmel, IN - Toledo sits in 11th place following the first day of the Hoosier Invitational on Monday with a team score of 645 at the par-72, 6,196-yard Crooked Stick Golf Club.

Notre Dame leads the 13-team field at 603, four strokes ahead of Illinois and six shots ahead of Eastern Michigan. Leading the Irish and the tournament is freshman Ashley Armstrong who carded rounds of 75-71 for a two-over par total of 146. She leads Eastern Michigan's Shannon Warner by one stroke and Illinois' Hailey Koschman by two.

Senior Piyathida Chaiyapn is leading the Rockets at 14-over par 158 (81-77) and is tied for 32nd place. Freshman Becky Martin is just two strokes behind Chaiyapan at 16-over par 160 (80-80) and tied for 46th place. Rounding out UT's lineup is freshman Stephanie St-Jean (T58/86-78=164), junior Allison Schultz (T61/82-83=165) and sophomore Kate Hoops (T70/89-81=170). Freshman Jennifer Elsholz is competing as an individual and is in 73rd place at 174 (90-84).

The final 18 holes of the tournament as well as the Rockets' fall campaign will be played on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
