TOLEDO, OH - The Toledo team of sophomores Stephanie St-Jean and Lauren Stephens finished in a 29th-place tie (among 54 schools) at the third-annual Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championship. The tournament, which was presented by the National Golf Coaches Association and is considered the most unique summer national women's amateur championship, was held at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, OH.

     Day one featured an alternate-shot format, day two was a best-ball format and on Thursday both golfers played their own ball with both scores counting toward the team total. Overall, the Rockets finished with a three-day total (72 holes) of 311 (87-67-157).

          Toledo finished second among four Mid-American Conference schools. Eastern Michigan tied for eighth place at 292 (77-67-148), Bowling Green was 35th at 322 (79-75-168) and Ohio was 44th at 335 (88-75-172).
