Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth will hold a series of camps and clinics this winter.

TOLEDO, OH - When the weather turns cold outside in Northwest Ohio this winter, golfers of all ages will be able to work on their games indoors as part of a series of camps and clinics being held by University of Toledo women's golf Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth will be providing these opportunities in the Rocket Golf Performance Center inside the Fetterman Training Center.

The youth golf camps will be offered for kids ages 10-17 and allow participants the opportunity to practice all aspects of their game. Dates for the one-day camps that last from 9:00 a.m.-Noon are Dec. 11, 17 & 18; Jan. 14, 15, 28 & 29; and Feb. 4 & 5. The cost is $50.00 with a minimum of seven and maximum of 10 participants in each session.

The adult clinics will feature three options - 1) Shortgame, 2) PuttLab and Shortgame and 3) Launch Monitor and Shortgame. The clinics utilizing PuttLab will offer analysis of individuals' putting strokes, while the Launch Monitor will allow to see your ball's flight information on a screen as you hit your shot into a net. The first adult clinic, which lasts from 5:30-6:30 p.m., will be on Nov. 28 with the last one coming on Feb. 27.

"I'm really excited to host a golf camp for both girls and boys as well as adult golf clinics in our new indoor facility," Hollingsworth said. "It's a chance for everyone to come and practice on their game in a one-of-a-kind facility that is one of the best facilities in the Midwest."

The Rocket Golf Performance Center is part of the newly-opened Fetterman Training Center which opened in February of 2010. The facility includes a 3,500 square-foot chipping and putting green with real course variable elevations. It also possesses a sand-based surface to provide true spin/roll. Multiple hitting areas with removable nets are also included in the area. Rocket golfers have access to a state-of-the-art Video/Launch Monitor Area that provides ball flight and putting analysis. The V1 video analysis equipment is also used.
