TOLEDO, OH - The Downtown Coaches Association will hold its annual Reverse Raffle on Sunday, Dec. 4 in conjunction with the UT women's basketball game vs. Colorado State. Doors open for the raffle at noon. Tip-off for the game is 2:00 p.m.

            The grand prize for the raffle is $5,000, with secondary prizes of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $300 and $200.

            The cost for a raffle ticket is $100, which admits the bearer and a guest to the raffle and the basketball game. Food and beverages are also included at no extra cost.

      The Downtown Coaches Association is a support group whose purpose is to promote, encourage and stimulate interest in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Toledo.  It was founded in 1937 by athletic director and head football coach Doc Spears.  For over 71 years, the DCA has sponsored Monday luncheons and assisted in the department's fundraising efforts.  The DCA sponsors an annual reverse raffle and conducts 50/50 raffles at UT football and basketball games.
