Jacki Way has served as the executive assistant to Athletic Director Mike O’Brien since 2003. Way assists with coordinating the athletic director’s calendar; preparing correspondence; making travel arrangements; maintaining game contracts; serving as the secretary for three athletic committees; and preparing and distributing meeting minutes.

Prior to joining the Athletic Department, Way was the executive assistant to the president at Tiffin University for six years. She is a 1987 Tiffin University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in management. She earned the Dean’s Award for the highest grade point average upon graduation.

Way is an active member of the Rocket Club, UT Alumni Association, WGTE Public Broadcasting, the Toledo Zoo, Toledo Botanical Garden and Spectrum, an arts organization.

Way is married to R. Bruce Way, Ph.D. and they have one son and two grandchildren. She enjoys photography, music, antiques and the TV series “Doctor Who”. She also has a small photography business specializing in greeting cards. Her photographs have won awards in various area art shows.
