Mike Renard has served in the athletic equipment office since 1983, becoming the head equipment manager in 1990.

A graduate of UT, Renard completed his bachelor’s degree in business in 1979 and his MBA in 1991. During his undergraduate years he worked as the student manager for men’s basketball under Coach Bob Nichols.

Renard has been a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) for 25 years. He enjoys watching baseball, particularly his favorite team, the Detroit Tigers.
