First Tod Kowalczyk Radio Show of 2013-14 to be Held Tonight at Fricker's in Maumee
TOLEDO, OH - The first Tod Kowalczyk Show of the 2013-14 campaign will be held tonight at Fricker's Restaurant in Maumee, 1418 Reynolds Road. The show will be held on every Monday of the basketball season.
Toledo will host Detroit on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 p.m. and is off to a 6-0 start this season for its best start in 15 years when it posted a 10-0 mark to open the 1998-99 campaign.
The Tod Kowalczyk Show is a live radio show featuring the Rockets' four-year head coach and student-athletes and is carried on the Rocket Sports Radio Network (WSPD AM 1370 in Toledo) every Monday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The show features interviews, highlights, previews and a chance for Rocket fans to ask the coach questions, whether in-person at Fricker's or by phone.
Mark Beier, now in his 19th season as the "Voice of the Rockets," hosts the show.

The Rocket Sports Radio Network carries live University of Toledo football, men's basketball and women's basketball games, as well as the UT Coach's Show. Stations in the network include WSPD (AM 1370) in Toledo; WDTW (1310 AM) in Detroit; WJMO (AM 1300) in Cleveland; WOHF-92.1 FM in Bellevue, WBVI-96.7 FM in Fostoria and WMTR-96.1 FM in Archbold.
