TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women’s tennis program has signed Sidnay Huck to a National Letter of Intent for the 2014-15 season, head coach Tracy Mauntler announced on Friday, Nov. 15.

Huck, a four-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net and native of Anderson, IN, is ranked No.3 in the state from her class and No. 27 in the Great Lakes Region. She was the singles runner-up in the 2013 Midwest Qualifier and was the champion of the Girls 18 Midwest Doubles Qualifier in 2012 and 2013.

She also earned a trip to nationals in Kalamazoo, MI to compete in doubles play, where she finished third.

“Coach Thorp and I couldn't be more excited about Sidnay joining our Rocket Family,” Mauntler said. “She is not only an incredibly talented tennis player, but more importantly, the kind of person that we look to add to our program. She is hard working and a total team player. Sidnay will impact the program immediately upon her arrival.”
