Three Rockets Named Honorable Mention Academic All-MAC in Men's Tennis

CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2012-13 Men’s Tennis Academic All-MAC Team with Toledo’s Grant Adams (Texarkana, TX), Bryant Dudzik (Gowen, MI) and Terence Weigand (Winter Springs, FL) receiving honorable mention honors. The team was voted on by the league Faculty Athletic Representatives with six student-athletes named. 

A sophomore with a 3.20 GPA in pre-dental, Adams led Toledo in overall singles wins with a 19-7 win-loss record, including an impressive 15-3 mark at No. 2 singles. He also paced Toledo in overall doubles wins with a 17-8 ledger and finished 10-2 at No. 2 doubles.
A senior pre-dental major with a 3.71 GPA, Dudzik registered a team-best 9-6 record at No. 6 singles and 13-7 overall. He also went 11-10 in overall doubles, including a 9-4 mark at No. 3.

A senior possessing a 3.58 GPA with a double major of accounting and marketing and a minor in entrepreneurship, Weigand ranked third on the team in wins with a 15-8 singles record.

All members of the team were required to have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average.
