Toledo Gets Underway at Hillsdale with 5,000-Meter Run Open

HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Toledo women's track and field team got started at the Hillsdale College "GINA" Relays with the 5,000-meter open run at the Ken Herrick Track on Thursday night. 

Sophomore Sharon Morgan paced the Rockets in seventh place with a time of 17:52.98, while fellow sophomore Jackie Koza finished 13th overall at 18:07.28. 

Freshman Mackenzie Phelps crossed the line in 25th place for the Midnight Blue & Gold with a final time of 18:30.72. The final two Rockets in the race were senior Richelle Gray (30th place) and sophomore Megan Csehi (33rd place), who finished at 18:43.14 and 18:44.20, respectively.
