TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo women's soccer program will host the fourth-annual Northwest Ohio Three-versus-Three Mini-Ball Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 24. Youth soccer teams for boys ages 8-14 will take the field on Feb. 17 and girls ages 8-14 one week later in the state-of-the art Fetterman Training Center. The cost to participate is $70.00 per team.

Fetterman's turf field will be divided to create four small-sized soccer fields (20 yards wide by 35 yards long) to hold the one-day competition. The seven age-groups (Under-8, Under-9, Under-10, Under-11, Under-12, Under-13 and Under-14) will compete in a format to determine the eventual champion. The champions for each group will be awarded championship metals. The entire event will be coordinated, run and refereed by coaches and players from the UT's women's soccer program, and the tournament will serve as a fundraising opportunity for the program.

Teams can register up to six players, with three players on the field at any time but no goalkeeper. Each squad will be guaranteed approximately 60 minutes of activity (length of and number of matches will be determined based on number of teams in each age group).

Individuals interested in attending should park in the parking lot off Douglas Avenue and enter through the Fetterman Training Center's main entrance.

For more information or to sign up for the tournament, please contact the UT women's soccer staff at (419) 530-6251 or email - Your Source for Rocket Sports
