Toledo to Play at Central Michigan on SportsTime Ohio on February 24
CLEVELAND, OH - The Mid-American Conference announced on Friday that Toledo's game at Central Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 24 has been selected as part of the league's regional February television package on SportsTime Ohio. In addition, Comcast Michigan will pick up the broadcast to air the game live in the host state.
The Rockets and Chippewas will square off for a second time in 2012-13 at 2:00 p.m. in McGuirk Arena. Earlier this season, CMU claimed a 73-66 victory in Savage Arena, snapping UT's 11-game win streak. The MAC West Division frontrunners were paced by a game-high 27 points from Crystal Bradford to hand Toledo only its third home league loss in the tenure of fifth-year head coach Tricia Cullop.
The Rockets (18-2, 6-1 MAC) have regrouped quite nicely since the loss and are in the midst of a six-game win streak, while the Chippewas (13-7, 7-0 MAC) are the last undefeated team in MAC play. It is CMU's first 7-0 start in conference play since the 1983-84 season.
UT returns to the hardwood on Sunday, Feb. 3 when it hosts Western Michigan. The opening tip is slated for Noon in Savage Arena.
