TOLEDO - University of Toledo senior linebacker Dan Molls (North Royalton, OH) has been chosen to play in the Texas vs. the Nation college football all-star game at Eagle Stadium in Allen, TX on Saturday, Feb. 2. Molls, who led the nation with 166 tackles, made first-team All-MAC and was a first-team Academic All-America selection. Molls, who has a 3.61 grade-point average in exercise science, was Toledo's first Academic All-American since Lance Moore in 2004.

Texas vs. the Nation features more than 100 draft-eligible players. The Texas team is made up of players from Texas or who played college football in Texas. The game was originally played in El Paso from 2007-11. In 2012, the game changed locations and formats. Re-named the AstroTurf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, the game was played in San Antonio and featured a more traditional "National vs. American" all-star format. The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl moved Los Angeles this year, while the "Texas vs. the Nation" concept was re-started with a game in Allen.

Over 100 participants in the game have been selected in the NFL Draft, and over 500 have signed with NFL teams.
