TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo claimed six first-team spots on the 2012 All-MAC football team, the most of any school, the Mid-American Conference office announced today. Overall, nine Rockets were named All-MAC, with junior Bernard Reedy (St. Petersburg, FL) earning all-conference at three positions: wide receiver (first team), punt return (first team) and kickoff return (second team). Reedy nearly matched the trifecta at first-team All-MAC in the same three positions that former teammate Eric Page pulled off last year.

The other first-team honorees were junior running back David Fluellen (Lockport, NY), junior center Zac Kerin (Delaware, OH), senior linebacker Dan Molls (North Royalton, OH) and senior safety Jermaine Robinson (Pittsburgh, PA).

Making third-team All-MAC were three sophomores, placekicker Jeremiah Detmer (Hillard, OH), offensive lineman Greg Mancz (Cincinnati, OH) and cornerback Cheatham Norrils (Toledo, OH).

Reedy has caught 82 passes for 1,051 yards and six touchdowns this season. He is second in the MAC and 19th in the country in receptions, fourth in the league and 16th in the nation in receiving yardage. Reedy averages 11.4 yards per punt return, 26.7 yards per kickoff return, and ranks No. 10 in the nation in all-purpose yards (163.5).

Molls, who earned third-team All-MAC honors as a sophomore in 2010, leads the nation in tackles with 166, and has had at least 13 tackles in 10 games this season.

Fluellen has rushed for 1,460 rushing this season, a total that is sixth all-time at UT. He ranks seventh in nation with 132.7 yards per game and was named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist.

Kerin, who made second-team All-MAC in 2011, is a key part of Rocket offense that ranks third in the MAC in total offense (456.1) and fourth in scoring offense (32.9).

Robinson is the MAC co-leader and 19th in nation with four interceptions. He ranks fourth in MAC with 13 passes defended (interceptions + passes broken up) and is fourth on team with 68 tackles.

Mancz, a Freshman All-America selection in 2011, played right guard for a Rocket offense that ranks third in the MAC in total offense (456.1) and fourth in scoring offense (32.9).

Russell leads all MAC freshmen with 925 yards receiving and was second in the conference with 17.1 yards per catch. He has caught 54 passes and scored five TDs on the season.

Detmer has made 21-of-26 field goals, including his last 14 attempts. He is tied with Rusty Hannah (1992) for the UT record for most field goals in a season. Detmer kicked a career-best five field goals in 29-23 win over then No. 18 Cincinnati on Oct. 20.

Norrils is third on team with 69 tackles, and has two interceptions and five pass breakups.
