WEST LAFAYETTE, IN - Sophomore Nick Wong captured the Flight C Singles Championship Sunday afternoon, capping off Toledo's strong performance at the Purdue Invitational. Three other Rockets reached the semifinals of their flights as UT opened up their 2012-13 season.
"Our team was extremely impressive this weekend while showing a lot of improvement and resiliency as the week progressed," Head Coach Al Wermer said.

The Winter Springs, FL native began his senior campaign losing to IUPUI's Jason Jaruvang (6-2, 6-2), but bounced back with a tough win over Daniel Kang of IPFW (4-6, 6-3).
