Cheatham Norrils Named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week

TOLEDO - Sophomore cornerback Cheatham Norrils (Toledo, OH) was named Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 27-15 victory over Bowling Green last Saturday.

Norrils had a season-high seven tackles and picked off his first career interception against the Falcons.  Norrils added his interception in the second quarter and the Toledo offense converted the turnover into a touchdown to open a 17-0 early lead.
