TOLEDO, OH - Senior Allison Schultz is Toledo's Athlete of the Week after posting a career-best second-place finish to lead Toledo to Illinois State's Redbird Invitational title this weekend.

Schultz, who won the Ohio Women's Amateur this summer, birdied her final two holes on Sunday to finish with a career-low six-over par 222 (75-75-72). Schultz's three rounds were each career lows with her previous best a 76 as a junior.

Toledo returns to action next weekend with a trip to East Lansing, MI for Michigan State's Fossum Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15-16.
