Softball Walk-On Tryouts; Mandatory Meeting Scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24 at 5:00 p.m.

A MANDATORY meeting for students interested in trying out will be held at Scott Park in the softball locker room on Friday, Aug. 24 at 5:00 p.m.

TOLEDO, OH - The Toledo softball program will hold a walk-on tryout at the end of August, fourth-year head coach Tarrah Beyster announced today.

The tryout will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Scott Park at 10:00 a.m. Any UT students interested in trying out for the team should arrive 15 minutes early. A second day of tryouts will take place on Sunday, Aug. 26, if necessary.

Additionally, students must fill out a tryout form in order to be eligible. Forms are located in the office of Brian Lutz, Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, on the fourth floor of Savage Arena. Written proof of a physical examination in the last six months and proof of health insurance are also required in order to participate.
