University of Toledo junior center Zac Kerin (Delaware, OH-Olentangy) has been named to the watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award, given annually to the nation's top college lineman or linebacker each year.

Eligibility for the Rotary Lombardi Award is limited to: 1) offensive or defensive end-to-end down linemen who set up no farther than 10 yards to the left or right of the ball and 2) linebackers who set up no farther than five yards deep from the line of scrimmage.

Kerin was a second-team All-MAC selection in 2011, keying an offense that ranked eighth in nation and first in MAC in scoring offense (42.2), and 10th in the nation and first in MAC in total offense (481.3). Toledo's offensive line also ranked tied for sixth in nation and first in MAC in fewest sacks allowed (10).

Kerin, a civil engineering major, also was an Academic All-MAC selection and a nominee for Academic All-America. He also is a nominee for the Rimington Trophy honoring the nation's best center.
