Allison Schultz Advances to Ohio State Amateur Semifinals
Dublin, OH - Senior Allison Schultz won two matches on Wednesday to advance to the semifinals of the Championship Flight at the Women's Ohio State Golf Association Amateur Championship. The tournament is being played at Riviera Golf Club in Dublin, OH.
Schultz opened the day with a 2 & 1 triumph over Penn State sophomore Erin Michel before advancing to the quarterfinals with a 5 & 4 victory.
"I'm having a lot of fun out there," Schultz said. "My goals for tomorrow are to stay in the same zone as I have the last couple of days. Staying steady has been my key to winning so far."
"I'm so proud of Alli's play," Toledo Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth said. "She has come so far, and she definitely has the game to win the Ohio Amateur. Her senior summer has been great so far, and hopefully tomorrow she has two more wins in her to bring home the trophy."

Schultz's semifinal match is scheduled for 8:56 a.m. on Thursday. The championship match is scheduled for 12:52 p.m. tomorrow.
