Toledo, OH - Toledo head women's tennis coach Tracy Mauntler has announced the signing of two members of the 2012 class, Emily Mazzola of Chagrin Falls High School (Chagrin Falls, OH) and Mackenzie Bowman of Henry M. Jackson High School (Bothell, WA).

Bowman, a four-star recruit, is currently ranked 184th nationally in the class of 2012, and the sixth-ranked player in the state of Washington. She won a Level 5 state doubles championship as a senior and reached the doubles final in the 2011 University of Colorado ITA Summer Circuit.

Mazzola, a three-star recruit, is the No. 202-ranked player in the class of 2012, and sixth-ranked player in Ohio. She was a three-time conference singles champion in her high school career, and a four-time state tournament qualifier.

"I'm extremely excited about the two additions to our Rocket Tennis Family," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "With such a small team, it is so important to bring not only good players into the program, but good people as well. I believe both Emily and Mackenzie will have an immediate impact on our team. The thing that stands out the most to me is that they both have a lot of doubles experience from their junior career which is very rare to find!"
