Former Toledo baseball player Jeff Cinadr was selected in the 36th round (1,099th overall pick) of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. Cinadr spent this past summer playing for the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Princeton Rays. For the Rockets, Cinadr appeared in 30 games out of the bullpen in 2009, sporting a 2-0 ledger with a team-low 4.15 ERA.  MORE

Toledo will hold its annual spring training baseball camps on February 6 and 13. Two camps consisting of hitting and pitching/catching will be offered at the Toledo Baseball Practice Facility for athletes in grades 1-12.
