Sophomore outside hitter Amber DeWeerdt (Plainfield, IL) has earned a spot on the 2009 Academic All-MAC volleyball squad, the conference office announced today. Toledo's first season under Head Coach Greg Smith was one of its best in its 30-year program history. The Rockets tied for second place in the MAC's West Division which was their highest finish ever since the conference went to a divisional format in 1997.
