The University of Toledo's softball team will hold open tryouts on Friday, Sept. 3 (and Saturday, Sept. 4 if necessary). The tryouts will begin at 4 p.m. and will take place at the Scott Park Softball Complex.  MORE

University of Toledo softball signee Lani Ernst (Milan, MI) was recently named the 2010 Washtenaw County Softball Player of the Year. The All-State shortstop was also named the AnnArbor.com Player of the Year after a stellar senior season.  MORE

University of Toledo softball signee Jen Solanics was named 2010 "Miss Softball" by the Lorain County Softball Coaches Association. In four years at Columbia High School, Solanics went 55-12, struck out 644 opponents and wrapped up her career last month with a career ERA of 0.71.  MORE
